It is our mission to provide professionally-organized billiard instruction and competition for students between the ages of 7 and 18 in a safe, fun and supportive environment. All of our highly-skilled instructors have passed a background check and the San Diego APA Junior Academy Instructor Certification Program.

Includes one-year APA Junior Membership, a pool cue and a t-shirt.
*Returning juniors will pay $10 to renew IF they are not already paid 2019 members. Adults will pay a $25 annual APA membership fee IF they are not already paid 2019 members. 

$80 Session Fee/10-week program/student
First Half Due By Week 1 – Second Half Due By Week 3

$30 Green Fee/10-week program/student
Paid directly to Pockets By Week 10
Green Fee will cover:
  • Cleaning
  • Supply Surcharge
  • Service Fee
  • Table Time


Each week’s class offers ½ hour billiards instruction from a certified instructor + 1 match (9-Ball format) per student.

4-5 person teams

Team match skill level limit = 13

Teams consist of 3 junior players + 1 or 2 Adult players - 3 players play in a team match (adults only play if any juniors from their team are absent and only play against another adult if any juniors from the opposing team are absent).

We will be attempting to solidify rosters on July 20th at the Spring Session Awards Ceremony/Fundraiser Tournament. Click here for details on the tournament. Students on the waiting list are welcome to attend the Awards Ceremony and play in the tournament.

Students that earn eligibility may compete in the SDAPA Junior City Championships in May for an opportunity to advance to the
