·         Preregistration is required.

·         $50/team entry fee due by MARCH 31st.

·         A maximum of 5 players allowed on roster.

·         Participants must be the captain either of a Fall ‘17 & Spring ‘18 or a Spring ‘18 & Summer ‘18 SDAPA standard 8-Ball, standard 9-Ball or Ladies 8-Ball team.

·         Participants must have a minimum of 10 scores within the last two years in at least one of the formats listed above.*

·         Teams may choose any 3 of the 5 team members to participate in each match.

·         The total of the skill levels of the 3 players fielded in any team match cannot exceed 15.

·         A player’s highest skill level between formats (8Ball & 9-Ball) must be used toward the 15 Rule. Exception - skill level 8/9s will count as 7s in this tournament

·         Only one player of skill level 6 or higher may play in any given match.

·         Players may only participate on one team.

·         One time out per player per game will be allowed.

·         Modified Single Elimination Format

·         Alternate between 8-Ball & 9-Ball racks, starting with 8-Ball.

·         Team Captains flip a coin to decide who must declare their three players for the match.  Winner of the flip has the choice of declaring first or having the opposing Team Captain choose first.  The Captains will list their players in ascending order (lowest to highest).  That list determines the player rotation, and is locked for the match.  Once both teams in a match have declared their players, the players cannot be changed unless the 15-Rule is in jeopardy.

·         Order of play will be lowest skill level to highest.

·         Players lag to see who wins the first break.

·         Once the first two players have completed their rack of 8-Ball, the second two players in the rotation will play a rack of 9-Ball.  Upon that rack’s completion, the next two players in the rotation will play a rack of 8-Ball.  Once set, the player rotation continues until a team reaches the required points necessary to win the match.

·         The winning team breaks with the next player in the rotation after each rack.

·         Each individual rack is worth one team point.

·         Maximum field is 32 entries. 16 teams play on Saturday and 16 play on Sunday. Schedule will be posted.

·         $1,600 ADDED!**

·         100% Payback of entry fees plus added money goes to the top teams with $600 awarded to first place from each day!**

·         Top two teams qualify for and receive paid entry into the APA Team Captain’s Championship in Las Vegas in August.*

·         The payout in the Vegas event is over $57,000 with 10,000 for first place!

*20 scores within the last two years are required
for the Las Vegas event.
